COVID-19 Policies
Official News: The Granby Board of Health has unanimously voted to end all of the town’s indoor mask mandates, effective 3/2/22. Town officials said, “that this does not mean you shouldn’t wear a mask. They said that anyone who wants to wear a mask, has COVID, has significant exposure to COVID, is immunosuppressed, or is gathering in large groups of unvaccinated people should wear masks.”
The CDC updated its guidance as well on mask wearing effective February 15, 2022 advising: “A fully vaccinated individual should wear a mask indoors if you have a weakened immune system, or if you are at increased risk for severe disease because of your age or an underlying medical condition, or if someone in your household has a weakened immune system, is at increased risk for severe disease or is unvaccinated. Individuals who are not fully vaccinated should continue to wear a mask indoors.”
In response to this wonderful news, wearing of masks will be optional at the studio! As we continually say in all of our classes, just listen to the wisdom of your body and do what feels right and good for you and feel free to wear one if you want to, or if you need to as per the CDC guidelines. We are still pre-registering for classes and limiting space, that will slowly shift and change over time, but for now it feels safe and smart to give everyone room…to breathe….
While our Mask Mandate has been lifted, we will continue to maintain the 6 foot social distance requirement. Please know that this decision is being made for the safety and health of all.
If you are not feeling well, have been exposed, or have been in a high risk environment please do not come to class. For your safety and the safety of the community, please stay home.
No mats are available for use for the near future. Please only come into the studio with what you really need.
EVERYONE must register online to reserve in-studio space. There will be no walk-ins allowed.
Mats will be spaced according to our MA state guidelines 6 ft apart. So space is limited with an indoor studio capacity of 10 people plus instructor. If the in-studio class is full, please join us virtually in our Zoom room!
Classes are each one hour to 75min. If there are back-to-back classes, there will be a 1/2 hour in between to allow us time to disinfect the studio.
Socialization before and after class must be done outside, still socially distanced!
In an effort to continue to keep us all safe we are removing the 24 hour cancellation requirement and request that you refrain from coming into the studio if you are not feeling well or if you have had a COVID exposure.
TBYP Fitness has been doing everything it can over the past two years to remain open and to help us all stay connected, healthy & well. We appreciate all of your support. Please review all our updated policies and procedures above. We are staying attuned to guidance from local and national officials and will quickly adapt if necessary.
Please respect these guidelines and let’s keep everyone safe. We appreciate your continued support!
