Heidi MacEwen is the owner of Total Body Yoga and Pilates. She offers a wide range of classes at her studio, and invites you to share her passion for fitness!

Lisa Helpa is a Group Exercise Instructor certified through the Aerobics and Fitness Association of America (AFAA). Lisa is a certified CIZE Live and Barre Above instructor. She has also completed a number of BOSU certification classes and is a Team Beachbody Coach. She enjoys bringing her knowledge of health and wellness into all aspects of her life including being a Certified Track and Field Official and working full time in the Insurance Industry.
Abby Dolgas has practiced yoga for five years. Her practice has helped her grow stronger and more flexible both on and off the yoga mat. She completed her 200 hour yoga certification, as well as YOGA ed.’s children’s yoga training at Kripalu. Abby’s classes place a special emphasis on listening to the wisdom of your own body, breath, and inner voice to find the right combination of exertion, release, and restoration for you. She seeks to help others thrive in life by nurturing their body and mind with yoga and hopes that you step off the mat feeling refreshed, nourished, and balanced. Abby also shares her passion for wellness as a personal health and fitness coach for Team Beachbody. Abby has her Early Childhood Teaching License (PreK- Grade 2) for Children with and without disabilities and a Reading Specialist License (Grades K-12). She currently teaches Kindergarten.
Loris Bjorkman-Joslyn started practicing yoga in 2007, through her practice on the mat she has found a profound empowerment to face challenges off the mat. She is 2010 graduate of Mama Nirvana’s Teacher Training. Her classes emphasize realizing the body’s potential strength and flexibility by practicing in a fun, easy-going, and carefree environment. With Loris’ positive “you can do it” attitude students will gain confidence as well as insight into what they are truly capable of. Loris has a MS in Art Therapy and is currently a high school Special Education teacher. She is most happy when visiting family, sitting outside, and making art with the children in her life.
Celeste Surreira After relocating back home to Massachusetts from Atlanta, GA, Celeste Surreira began her personal health and wellness journey in early 2016 and soon after attended her very first yoga class at TBYP. As a healthcare provider for many years, she has always been passionate about promoting wellness and prevention for others. Now it was time, to practice the same and commit to a healthier way of living. Over the next several months, Celeste committed to eating clean and attending more and different classes at TBYP from yoga, to pilates, total body circuits and her favorite PiYo! By fall, she’d lost a total of 75 lbs and felt leaner and stronger. Since then, Celeste has continued to maintain her weight and increase her fitness and tone. She became a certified Barre instructor in 2017 and most recently completed her PiYo instructor certification in May of 2018.
Annie Stackhouse For more than 35 years, Annie Stackhouse has been teaching people how to move, dance, and align their bodies in a way that helps them to achieve better health. Creator of the Stackhouse Technique™ – Annie utilizes yoga, Pilates, modern dance, functional anatomy and fun to help people achieve better posture alignment, freedom from chronic pain, and an improved sense of well-being! As a Movement Educator, Annie embodies a rich history of training, practice, and research around movement and posture alignment and how proper attention to both can optimize health.
Lexi Allaway is a 2017 Graduate of the 200 hour Embodyoga®Teacher Training. Embodyoga® is closely compared to Hatha Yoga styles with a specific influence of Body-Mind Centering® technique. Embodyoga®is an integrated approach founded on principles of inquiry, compassion, deep discernment within the body-mind. Before Lexi became a Yoga instructor, her movements were shaped by a 12-year background in dance. Each class begins and ends with meditation where we sit and observe the sensations of making space and time for dedicated practice. This approach supports mindful progression of relationship to body and qualities of movement. As Lexi explains, these classes are openly welcoming to all humans and especially enjoyed by those drawn towards their own fundamental curiosity.
Christina Mykytiuk discovered PiYo Live classes in early 2016 at her local recreational facility in Arizona. As a summer resident of South Hadley she learned about our studio and our PiYo Live classes from our website. In March 2018 she became a certified PiYo Live instructor. Christina is an avid runner and has completed one marathon, six half marathons and several shorter races. In addition to running she and her husband enjoy hiking, biking , cooking and travel. Christina grew up in the Pacific Northwest and is a graduate of the University of Washington. Prior to joining TBYP she was airfreight manager at a Swiss logistics company for 22 years. Christina looks forward to sharing her “Passion for PiYo” with you.
